1. There are two kinds of suffering.

2. There are four purposes in suffering.
a) It proves our faith.
b) It purifies our faith. (1 Peter 1:6-7)
c) It provides future glory. (1 Peter 4:13)
d) It presents an opportunity to glorify God. (1 Peter 4:14)
