The Doctrine of the Body (Part 2)
1. The Distortion of God's Design for our body.
- a) The Dichotomy of Spirit and Body.

- i) The body should not be Diminished as less important than the spirit.

- ii) The body is not a temporary Dungeon that traps the spirit until it is released to heaven.

- iii) Neither are the appetites of the body intended to Drag the spirit down in Defeat.
2. The Dignity of the body.
- a) Our body, as well as our soul, was Delivered by the Death and resurrection of Christ.
- b) Our body is a physical Distribution of Christ in this world.
- c) Our body is a temple where God Dwells.
- d) We are to glorify God, not only in the thoughts, meditations and feelings of our spirits, but in the actions our bodies Do.
3. The Distinction between the flesh and the body.
- a) The flesh is to be Denied while the body is a Device used to exclusively serve God.
