1. Lot's Loss.
- a. Lot lost the Lives of most of his family.
- b. Lot lost all his Labourers and Livestock.
- c. Lot was displaced from the lavish Luxury he would have enjoyed in Sodom to the basic Lodging of a cave.
- d. Because of Lot's Loneliness and grief, it's not surprising to see him lose his soberness.
2. The Lament of Lot's daughters.
- a. God's provision is not Limited to what we see available around us.
- b. The Logic of Lot's daughters to solve the problem of having no future children Lacked the consideration of faith in God's provision.
- i. It was a remedy that required following the Lie that the end justifies the means.
- ii. Lot's daughters also didn't Link life's decisions to spiritual principles.
- c. Lot's daughter's lack of faith led to a future lethal Liability for Israel.
3. God's Love and Lenient grace.
- a. Their Lives were spared.
- b. Lot's Line would continue.
- c. Moab and Ammon were given a Land that God would protect.
- d. Their Legitimacy was established in Ruth.
- e. Their Languishing under God's chastisement will eventually be reversed.
