Why the "S" is Important
1. There are three Designations within the theology of missions.
- a) The largest one is called Missio Dei, which means mission of God.

- i) It refers to all that God is Doing in the world to achieve His purposes.
- b) The second one that fits inside the first is the mission of the church, which is the Duty that God wants His churches to carry out in this world.
- c) The third one is missions which seeks to Duplicate the church in Distant places.
- i) As we go Down the list of the Designated missions, each one is more Distinct in its purpose than the one before, and each is a Division of the one before.
- ii) Each of these three mission designations have Deliberate goals to accomplish.
2. What is a biblical Description of a missionary?
- a) To whom should we Disperse our missions Dollars?
- b) Acts 14 provides a Diagnostic tool to Discern what a missionary does and whom we should support.
- i) A missionary Declares the gospel.
- ii) A missionary Disciples converts.
- iii) A missionary Develops churches and Designates pastors.
