Golden Bells and Pomegranates
1. The Golden bells reveal that the work of Christ had Passed the test of God the Father's approval.
- a) God had been Propitiated through Christ; His justice had been satisfied through the death of His Son.
2. The Pomegranates speak of our Privileges in Christ.
- a) The blue reminds us that now that we are saved, we have a heavenly "Politeia"
- b) The purple reminds us that we have become a royal Priesthood.
- c) The scarlet points out that we are also a people of Pain.
3. The Pomegranates also teach us a Principle of creativity.
4. The Golden Bells and Pomegranates tell us that our Profession and our Practice must go together.
