Curtains of Goat's Hair
1. The covering was not of goats Skin, but was of Spun goat's hair.
2. This cloth of spun goats hair was also used to make Sackcloth.
- a) Sackcloth was a material worn to Show mourning, repentance and humility.
- b) It was also the Style of dress that a prophet wore.
- i) Jesus was frequently Spoken of as a prophet.
3. Hair is also a Symbol of Separation.
4. The covering of goat's hair also speaks of the Sorrow of Christ as a prophet.
5. Another aspect of separation is seen in the Significance of the hair and the skin.
